Executive-in-Residence Program
Canada West Foundation’s Executive-in-Residence program is intended to connect the Foundation with successful executives from the business community. Participants in the program work with the Foundation to lead specific projects which, while enhancing the core research mission of the Foundation, do not involve conventional research. Projects will be developed in conjunction with the CEO of the Foundation and the research staff.
Successful candidates for the program must have a demonstrated record of success at the senior executive level in the business community, be interested in issues of public policy, be comfortable working in a research-intensive organization, and bring to the Foundation a sense of purpose, and commitment to the successful completion of their project. Appointments are typically for one to two years, with the possibility for renewal.
