The Australia-Canada Economic Leadership Forum will be held July 23-25, 2012, and will bring together distinguished leaders of the private, public and non-profit sectors in Canada and Australia to increase understanding of common pressing national challenges. It will highlight distinctive Canadian and Australian perspectives on major economic and political factors. Key themes will be: Global economic threats and opportunities; China and India’s growth; Energy; Innovation; and Foreign Investment.

Michael Cleland, Nexen Executive-in-Residence will be speaking on July 24, in a session entitled, Energy Solutions in a World of Increasing Demand and Carbon Constraints.
