On March 21, 2012, Calgary Economic Development, the Canada West Foundation and the Van Horne Institute hosted a half day conference to explore the future of natural gas as a transportation fuel. The morning commenced with a keynote address by W.A. Sam Shaw, Vice President, Natural Gas Policy Development, Encana, followed by two panel discussions featuring experts from both the Natural Gas and Transportation industries.
Fuel Forward: Propelling Transportation with Natural Gas introduced and showcased new innovations and examined how natural gas can be moved forward as a marketable alternative to other fuel options.
