Economist Available to Give Western Perspective on Federal Budget
03-Mar-2010CALGARY – On Thursday, March 4, 2010, Canada West Foundation Senior Economist, Jacques Marcil will be in Ottawa to provide comment and analysis of the Federal Budget, following the budget address in both English and French.
Marcil is an expert resource on an ongoing basis to the media. With 20 years’ experience in the production and analysis of economic statistics, Jacques Marcil comments on all things economic, including GDP, employment and international trade. Marcil is the author of Currents, the monthly economic bulletin published by Canada West Foundation with the sponsorship of Canadian Western Bank. He also authors quarterly Economic Profile and Forecasts for each of the four western provinces.
