As a seasoned marketing and communications professional, Norman brings more than 40 years’ experience providing creative and strategic communications advice and direction to clients in both the public and private sectors. After graduating from the political science program at the University of British Columbia and studying customer service at Walt Disney World’s management programs, Norman served as a senior communications executive with the Province of British Columbia. He performed the day-to-day marketing, communications and public affairs of various ministries and Crown corporations and managed major public events and openings. 

In 1991, Norman created Pace Group, a public relations firm that has planned, organized and executed dozens of multi-stakeholder projects for private and public sector clients. For each one, Norman has assumed the role of the project lead and key strategist with overall responsibility for all aspects of the project. As a writer, Norman is one of the most skilled and sought after public relations practitioners in British Columbia. He is equally in demand as a consultant, providing strategic communications and issues management advice, developing comprehensive communications plans and delivering media training.
