Valerie Sluth is the founder and president of Saskatchewan-based Praxis Consulting. She is a Fellow Certified Management Consultant (FCMC) and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors, Director (ICD.D) designation. As a management consultant, Val has worked in leadership roles nationally and internationally and has extensive experience as a corporate director. She has served as chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and as a director of the Chambers of Commerce Insurance Corporation of Canada. She also served as the RBC Executive Woman in Residence at the Hill and Levene Schools of Business at the University of Regina. 

Over her 30-year consulting career, Val has advised federal, provincial, municipal and Indigenous governments, as well as not-for-profit and private sector organizations. Her expertise spans corporate strategy, policy research, governance modernization and organizational transformation. In recognition of her leadership and community contributions, she received the 2022 Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce ABEX Business Leader of the Year Award and the 2025 WESK Celebration of Achievement Award.
