Brendan Cooke
Policy Analyst


As a Policy Analyst with the Canada West Foundation, Brendan Cooke works primarily with the Natural Resources Centre. His research focuses on the sustainable development of Western Canadian resources, and the future of energy policy.

Brendan holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development and a Bachelor Commerce in Energy Management from the University of Calgary. While at the University, he investigated the economic and environmental impacts of utilizing microgrids to combat wildfire related power outages in California. In past roles Brendan has managed major capital projects in the telecommunication and energy industries.
