Margi Pandya
Policy Analyst

Margi is a passionate policy researcher and has joined Canada West Foundation in March 2025 as a Policy Analyst. Margi pursued her undergraduate studies in law, earning a B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and becoming qualified to practice law in India. She then joined the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi, one of India’s premier think-tank under the aegis of Ministry of Finance as a Research Fellow.

To continue her journey of learning, Margi moved to Canada to pursue a Master of Public Policy at the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary, graduating in October 2024. She then worked as a Policy Consultant with Actuo Consultancy before joining the Canada West Foundation.

Margi is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, particularly in competition, climate, and Energy policy, where she hopes to use her interdisciplinary background to address complex societal challenges both locally and globally.

When she’s not immersed in policy work, Margi is a passionate advocate for sustainable living and enjoys gardening. She also has a deep love for cooking and dreams of hosting a vegetarian supper club to showcase the flavors of India and Gujarat.
