Jeff Griffiths

Jeff Griffiths is a Director of Research at the Canada West Foundation where he leads multi-disciplinary teams to articulate pragmatic policy solutions to make Western Canada more successful and prosperous. He has been a leading Canadian practitioner in the field of competency-based approaches to human capital issues for over 25 years and has been involved in a number of seminal works that have influenced both federal and provincial policies in that space. Over his career, he has been involved in initiatives in the aerospace, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, natural resources and professional services sectors.

In addition to his work at CWF, Jeff is a member of the Workforce Forum at the North American Strategy for Competitiveness (NASCO), looking at international standards for workforce development and their impact on productivity and competitiveness
